Man of Steel is an upcoming American superhero film directed by Zack Snyder, produced by Christopher Nolan and scripted by David S. Goyer. Based on the DC Comics character Superman, the film will be a reboot of the Superman film series, portraying the character's origin story. The film stars Henry Cavill in the title role, with Amy Adams as Lois Lane, and Michael Shannon as General Zod.
Development of Man of Steel began in 2008 when Warner Bros. Pictures took pitches from comic book writers, screenwriters and directors, opting to reboot the franchise. In 2009, a court ruling resulted in Jerry Siegel's family recapturing the rights to Superman's origins and Siegel's copyright. The decision stated that Warner Bros. did not owe the families additional royalties from previous films, but if they did not begin production on a Superman film by 2011, then the Shuster and Siegel estates would be able to sue for lost revenue on an unproduced film. Nolan pitched Goyer's idea after story discussion on The Dark Knight Rises. Snyder was hired as director in October 2010. Principal photography started in August 2011 in West Chicago before moving to Plano and Vancouver. (by wikipedia)
There have been recent developments both negative and positive on Warners’ new Superman movie, Man of Steel. On the debit side, reputed script problems have seen the release date slip from December 2012 to summer 2013. But on the plus side, Laurence Fishburne has joined the production as Daily Planet editor Perry White, and the first official pic of Henry Cavill as Superman has just been released.
As per the picture above, the costume sported by Cavill’s Superman is looking a little darker in hue than those previously sported on-screen by Reeve and Routh. Though it is not as much of a departure as the black suit insisted on by producer Jon Peters when he was crafting his never-realised Superman reboot in the ‘90s (he supposedly reckoned the iconic red ‘n’ blue uniform was “too faggy”).
Aside from the obvious action element to the snap, namely the badly busted-up bank vault, the other thing that catches the eye is slight bouffant that this new Superman seems to have on the go. So even if Man of Steel is not, as Warners and director Zack Snyder will surely be desperately hoping, the biggest Superman film to date, it looks set to certainly to feature the larger Super-hair than any prior outings. And that’s got to be some kind of achievement, hasn’t it?
In addition to Cavill and Fishburne, Man of Steel also features Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Russell Crowe as Jor-El, and Michael Shannon as General Zod, plus some other people playing some other people. It is due for release on 14 June 2013.

BUT BEFORE we watch the new movie of Superman, let we see the faces of Superman from its first movie up to Henry Cavill. Can you find Superman weird character blended in him fo so long?. Can you find it? OK now lets have a look....:
No.1: Christopher Reeves
No.2: Kirk Lyn
No. 3: George Reeves
No.4: Gerard Christopher
No. 5: Dean Cain
No.6 : Tom Welling
No.7: Henry Cavill
All of them are the best during their times but all of them never change their weird character. Ordinary man wearing underwear inside but Superman chose to use it outside his glamorous suits.. I think he got some attitude problem..The next Superman should not appear like that. Its time to provide a dress code to this Superhero as his action may influence other to follow and it just not appropriate NOWADAYS. Doesn't believe me..? Look for yourself>::::
