6:14pm....What Happened To Our Bus Stop...

Hi,
Missing something today.? Yeah.. I a bit busy entertaining guest coming to my house since yesterday. I am not celebrating CNY but of course during this holiday, some friends came back home spent a bit of time paid a visit after did not see each other for quite sometimes... Ermm..tomorrow my wife and me plan to organise a Birthday Party for our eldest daughter Ellisha Adriana.. This will be her 3rd birthday.. It felt the time running so fast..Seeing her growing up pretty fast remind me that our time also running short!.. We are getting older man...
Since the past 37 years seeing not just something to do with my life but also on something surrounding me. ALl those things evolved in tandem with time and people became more creative and innovative. People start to create something attractive, something catchy. The building designs in more creative way emphasizing on aesthetic values to give a legacy to its designer..Road improvement becomes more efficient with connections to all strategic locations means to improve traffic flows.. Giving more times, Kuching may become one of the most efficiently administered city in Malaysia.. But lets take a look at some minor things before we could imagine we are heading towards 2020 Vision.. For example our public transportation system and its pick up point..A innocent creature that the government built for its people ------------ A BUS STOP!.!!
Seeing is believing, judge you self on the current state of our bus stop and compare it with those innovation done by other countries around the world... This is one of futuristic designed bus stop ever built:

Now looks at our present bus stops around  Kuching City.:

What is our problems..? Budget problems?.. We paid taxes every year.. No money?.. We are oil producer state in Malaysia...Shortage of creative designers?..I don't think so.. Or may be is it not feasible to  built it?.. May be yes. Alternatively we can let private sector to manage it right?... Well I leave  it to you guys to judge.. Be it for us or for other users, as a responsible citizen, we must show our concerns for those who seek for buses as a daily mode of transportation.. Wouldn't we be happy to have a nice bus but lowsy bus stop...?... Luckily our two bus stops located at the Kuching Waterfront and at Jalan Satok saved the day....At least..

Thanks for visiting....
